Startup-minded Mechatronics Part-timer

We are seeking a part-time employee with mechatronics expertise to join our team.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in hardware assembly and electrical wiring according to best practice
  • Perform on-site service visits and machine installations
  • Perform programming of PLCs and integration with our core software
  • Assist in the further development of our hardware design and functionality
  • Contribute to product development and other business operations as needed, and bring your unique perspectives into play

Main Qualifications:

  • Studying for or completed a degree within mechatronics, automation, mechanical/electrical engineering, industrial technology or similar
  • Workshop experience within mechanics and electronics as well as a solid understanding of basic engineering principles, materials science, production technology & design, incl. best practice, safety standards and industrial environmental conditions
  • Exposure to industrial programming and automation, in particular PLC
  • Professional or fluent in English, both spoken and written

Further Qualifications (or interest in learning):

  • Some experience from industrial environments
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure, networks, cloud computing, and security
  • Coding skills in Python, with a preference for software development principles
  • Interested in working in a startup and solve new problems as they appear

The workload is dependent on projects and on-site visits but is expected to average 20 hours per week, possibly increasing over time.
